The Cairns Hang Gliding Club
The Cairns Hang Gliding club is not just for Hang glider pilots! We are a club for Hang Glider , Microlight and paraglider pilots. We are not just a club for boys either! We have female trike and paraglider pilots, girls can fly just as high as boys!
Our club is for everyone with a passion for flying.
The microlighters frequently do trips away to places like Cooktown, Chillagoe, and Dunk Island.
The main flying site for the Cairns Hang-Gliding club is the Rex Lookout on the main Cairns to Port Douglas Road.
Meeting held every first Thursday of the month at Yorkey’s Knob Boat Club at 7pm.
